    Support a Green Roof Legislation

    I’ve started a cause on facebook to demand a Green Roof Legislation in Australia, the goal is one million members by mid-2009.

    I’ve chosen Facebook as it has a huge visibility worldwide with a community of more than 140 million people (and still growing) and thanks to it I’ve already built a quite interesting worldwide network with people working in the same field.

    Contrary to many people belief, facebook is not stuff for silly kids but a really great way of networking worldwide. Althought not primarly business-oriented like LinkedIn, Facebook has the major advantage of having a huge number of members. This makes it the number one place on the internet to reach idividuals and communities with zero costs.

    So, this cause was created to demand a Green Roof Legislation in Australia that would make green roofs compulsory in all new buildings and would tax subsidies the retrofittings of old ones.
